Shakira To Build School in Haiti

We all know the chaos that took place in Haiti, and Shakira won’t stay quiet!

The latin superstar is building another school to help the disaster stricken Caribbean Country.

On January 12th Shakira also joined some other hollywood figures who donated money to help the Haiti Victims and now she is taking her project “piez descales” (Barefoot) to the local children.

“We’ve come to make all the preparations to be able to start the building of a Barefoot school here in Haiti,” “We think we can employ what we’ve learned [in Colombia] here, apply it in this country which needs it so much at the moment,” Told the star in an interview to ABC this weekend.
